Cross-Rollup Mode

The ability to switch between Single Chain Mode and Cross Rollup Mode makes Mes Protocol different from other orderbook DEX.

In Cross-Rollup Mode, your order could match and settle with orders on any chains supported by Mes Protocol. For instance, when you currently connect to zkSync Era, you can see orders from Arbitrum and Optimism on the orderbook; and YES, your order could match and settle with these orders.

Pros: Cross-Rollup Mode consolidate orders from multiple chains into the orderbook, thus offer a deeper liquidity. The price slippage is narrower for market orders, and the time needed to settle a limit order would be shorter.

Cons: Asset received could be scattered across multiple chains. You will need to take an extra step to aggregate your asset into a desirable chain (See Cross-Chain Withdrawal for more information).
