Single Chain Mode

The ability to switch between Single Chain Mode and Cross Rollup Mode makes Mes Protocol different from other orderbook DEX.

In Single Chain Mode, your order placed is matched and settled with other orders on your currently connected chain only. Pros: Your traded asset will stay on your connected chain, there is no extra bridging needed in case you want to withdraw from that chain.

Cons: Liquidity in the orderbook is usually thinner in Single Chain Mode; it therefore takes more time to settle for limit orders, and the price slippage could be significant for market orders if liquidity is inadequate on that chain.
